Fredonia's downtown district was packed with fans as hometown Olympic gold medalist Jenn Suhr returned to the village.
After a record-setting performance in London, Suhr later beat her personal record with a vault that was three inches higher, extending her world lead in the sport. Suhr will be making performance stops throughout the region including one in Rochester next week and a visit to Ralph Wilson Stadium in two weeks.
Suhr's husband, Rick, credits the support of family and the region's fans for much of her success.
