Officials with the Buffalo Public Schools district have denied a pair of requests for information regarding the firing of former assistant superintendent Debbie Buckley.
Buckley was let go after an investigation into her work in overseeing $100 million in grant money at the district's disposal. The Buffalo News was told that the reports were protected by attorney-client privilege. Both the News and a state expert disagree with that conclusion.
Efforts to receive those reports are expected to continue.
