Park School investigating allegations of past teacher/student relationships

The Park School in Amherst has begun an investigation into allegations that four former educators in the 1970s and 1980s may have had inappropriate relationships with high school students. The probe was launched after the school received reports from two alumni and two other schools. The school's Board of Trustees say two of the educators are now deceased and the other two are no longer teaching.

Any alumni who may have an experience to share are asked to contact the Buffalo law firm Hodgson Russ LLP, who is participating in the probe. The school has sent a letter describing the situation to alumni, faculty, staff, and families.

Earlier this year, Nichols School released a report following six-month investigation into past relationships involving students and faculty that revealed ten former faculty engaged in such misconduct.
