Buffalo Public Schools superintendent Pamela Brown begins her Strategic Plan Listening Tour Saturday morning.  Brown has invited motivational speaker and author Simon Bailey to appear at the "Pathways to Success" program.  As part of our Focus on Education reporting -- WBFO'S senior reporter Eileen Buckley spoke to Bailey -- who is a graduate of Bennett High School and founder and CEO of Brilliance Institute.

As the city school superintendent is under deep scrutiny to turnaround failing Buffalo Schools -- Brown is launching a 9 a.m. event Saturday at the Waterfront Elementary School downtown.  Bailey will be speaking about brilliance and power of community.   He's the former leader of the Disney Institute and authored seven books -- ironically Bailey is a graduate of Bennett -- one of the top failing city schools.
