New York State troopers are investigating a stabbing in the Cattaraugus County village of Portville.

Officials say Kaylee Hicks, 21, has been arrested in the incident. She is charged with burglary, assault and criminal possession of a weapon after allegedly stabbing her neighbor several times.

The stabbing took place at a residence on Merseraeu Place.

Hicks was arraigned in Portville Village Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail. A village court date is pending.
