Fredonia Police are investigating a series of burglaries that took place over the weekend.
Police say the burglaries were committed at apartments in the areas of Central Avenue, Lambert Street, Newton Street, Green Street and Center Street during the overnight hours. While many of tenants where not home at the time, in a few instances, residents were able to scare off the suspects.
As the investigation continues, police are asking village residents owning exterior surveillance cameras to check their footage and see if they have any subjects on their cameras during the overnight hours. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fredonia Police Department.
