Police looking for kidnapper on Buffalo's East Side

Buffalo Police are investigating a kidnapping that occurred Wednesday night on the city's East Side.

It happened in the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue and East Utica Street, west of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, between 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Police report a 15-year-old girl was waiting at a bus stop, when a white male, medium build, blonde hair, long beard, wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black boots approached her in a white van.

They say the girl was forcefully taken into a nearby alley, where the suspect made her lose consciousness. She was then taken to an address in the 300 block of High Street, where she regained consciousness and was transported to Children’s Hospital.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Buffalo Police Confidential TIPLINE at 847-2255.
