Tonawanda woman admits stealing from Ken-Ton school

A Tonawanda woman has pleaded guilty in Erie County Court to grand larceny and attempted grand larceny charges in connection with the theft of money from a Ken-Ton school and the attempted theft of money from a gymnastic booster club.

Authorities say Patricia Seyfang, 38, admitted to stealing over $18,000 from the Charles A. Lindbergh Elementary School, where she was treasurer of the school's Parent Teacher Association.

They say she also tried to take more than $9,500 from the Greater Buffalo Gymnastic Booster Club, where she also served as treasurer.

Seyfang has made full restitution, but could face up to four years in prison when sentenced on February 2, 2018.
