Buffalo Police are investigating an apparent murder/suicide involving a mother and daughter.  Police in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, outside of Pittsburgh, discovered the body of a 55-year-old woman in a motel room on Wednesday afternoon. They say Hannah Lilien died from self-inflicted wounds.

Buffalo Police conducted a welfare check at a home on Cunard Avenue later on Wednesday, where they found the deceased body of an 85-year-old woman. Police say Rose Lilien, Hannah's mother, was the victim of a homicide.

The two women shared the residence. An investigation is underway.
