University at Buffalo Police are investigating a report of an assault on UB's South Campus. An alert was issued Sunday. A UB student reported he was hit in the back of the head with a BB believed to be fired with an air pistol. Police said it caused a minor injury to the victim. The incident occurred on the sidewalk near Hayes Annex B on the city campus.
UB Police said three suspects, all male juveniles, were on their bikes and fled the South campus. Police are reviewing security camera video and will continue frequent patrols.
