Buffalo police arrested a suspect in Saturday's early morning fatal shooting of a 28-year-old Williamsville man.

The shooting occurred in the city's Kaisertown neighborhood. The victim was taken to the Erie County Medical Center, where he died later Saturday.

Meanwhile, a SWAT team was called out after the suspect believed to be responsible for the shooting barricaded himself in a building on Clinton Street. He eventually surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.

Police have not yet revealed the name of the suspect or the identity of the victim. The suspect is said to be a man in his 40s.

Charges are pending.
