Kenmore Police have made an arrest in the May 19 murder of the owner of Malone's Bar and Grill restaurant on Delaware Avenue.  Last month, the body of Vincent James Cottone was found brutally murdered inside his home on Landers Road in the Village of Kenmore.

Kenmore Police Chief Peter Breitnauer tells WBFO News police have arrested and charged a Buffalo man in connection with the murder.

"We have arrested Antonio Martin-Brown, 19 years of age of Buffalo.  He is charged with murder in the second degree in connection with the death of Vincent James Cottone," said Chief Bretinauer.

Police are not releasing a motive or other details in the case at this time.

But chief Breitnauer said the suspect and Cottone were acquainted with one another, stressing that the murder was not a random act of violence.

"The deceased and suspect are acquainted," said Breitnauer.

Martin-Brown has been arraigned and is being held without bail.

Brietnauer noted that "evidence and hard police work" led to the arrest.
