Investigators in Orleans County are looking into an apparent homicide. A man was reportedly taken into custody this morning after a woman's body was found on a rural road in the Town of Carlton. The woman, believed to be in her mid-50s, suffered blunt force trauma. Her body was found by a school bus driver on Oak Orchard River Road around 7 a.m. Monday.
The man who was detained lives in a nearby home. Few other details are available.
