30 years and still walking strong! Join us for the best walk you will take all year at the SPCA's Paws in the Park on Saturday, September 23, at Beaver Island State Park!

Your participation will make a lifesaving difference for pets and wildlife in need. The funds raised for Paws in the Park will provide animals with shelter and lifesaving medical care, adopt pets into loving homes, rescue animals from cruelty and neglect, and so much more. In the coming year, more than 11,000 animals will rely on us for care. By joining Paws in the Park, you'll help give each one the second chance they deserve!

Come join us for a day filled with family, fun, and fresh produce at the Buffalo Central Terminal! Our Family, Fun, & Farmers market is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the return of fall with an array of kids games and activities and a wide variety of delicious, locally made goodies.

We've also partnered with Feed Buffalo who will be providing 300 families with FREE PRODUCE at the market! Bring your loved ones and enjoy a fun-filled day exploring the market, sampling tasty treats, and supporting local businesses.

The second annual Living Green Festival will be packed full with talks, activities, and a vendor row, all eager to help you live the green life including Basket Raffle, Let’s Goat Buffalo, Bounce House, Clothing Sale . Free Household Goods, Folk Dancing, Green Vendors & Speakers, Eating Green Cafe, Meditation, Storytelling and, Mandala Crafting. Also there will be a Door Prize for the Amherst Little Free Pantry -- one ticket for 2 cans/boxes of food donation.

Book Arts kicks off its 15th anniversary programming with the opening of Richard Kegler: Re:Bound, a survey of Kegler’s 40-year career as a printmaker, book artist, and designer. There will be an opening reception on September 23rd, with an artist talk at 6pm, and then the exhibition will continue to be on display through November 3rd.

With the opening of Richard Kegler: Re:Bound, Book Arts celebrates the vision of our founders who saw the potential for a unique arts organization on a once forgotten corner of downtown Buffalo. The exhibition will survey the breadth of Kegler’s storied 40 year-career and include McScream, the artist’s Edvard Munch tribute/parody woodcut from the late 1980s, accompanied by a facsimile letter from a large corporation who claimed trademark infringement after derivative products (coffee mugs, watches, postcards) were made with this image. A range of Kegler’s early handmade books and selections from his mail art experiments, which he has characterized as implicating “the post office as the un-knowing collaborator in the final piece,” will also be featured.

Empire State Wrestling will return to Niagara Falls on Saturday, September 23 with Turn It Up. The event will be at the Frontier Fire Hall (2176 Liberty Drive, Niagara Falls, NY) and feature former World Wrestling Entertainment star Scotty 2 Hotty.

Scotty 2 Hotty was a long-time staple of the WWE roster who was known for his time with the fun-loving faction Too Cool with Grand Master Sexay and Rikishi and performing "The Worm". During his tenure with the promotion, he was a two-time Tag Team Champion and one-time Light Heavyweight Champion.

At Turn It Up, Scotty will take on "The Inspiration" Gregory Iron. This will be Scotty's second match in ESW with his first one occurring in 2016 when he challenged then-ESW Heavyweight Champion Will Calrissian for the title in Olean, N.Y. Iron last wrestled in ESW in June, besting T.J. Epixx. Iron also preceded to mock Scotty before the match began.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with bell-time set for 6 p.m. Tickets are available at ESWTIX.COM where service fees apply. Front row seats are sold out. Second row seats are $25 and General Admission tickets are $20. Ticket prices rise by $5 at the door.

Scotty 2 Hotty will hold a training seminar earlier in the afternoon at Frontier. Scotty posses a wealth of industry knowledge and previously served as a WWE producer and coach. This is a great training opportunity for current wrestlers and students from all wrestling schools. The session begins at 1 p.m. and costs $40. To reserve a spot, email eswoffice@yahoo.com.
