Calling all brides-to-be. Alfred Angelo is liquidating the last of its bridal gowns.
That's right, the bridal shop chain that declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy last July and abruptly closed all of its stores and corporate offices across the country.
Chapter 7 means the company wants to liquidate its assets and go out of business rather than seek to restructure its debt. However, eight months later, the company says hundreds of gowns remain and will be sold at extreme discounts locally next month.
JADD Management is handling the liquidation. It says more than 600 designer bridal gowns, 300 wedding dresses and 300 bridesmaids and evenings gowns will be sold at up to 60 percent off on April 7 and up to 75 percent on April 8. The sale will take place at the former Alfred Angelo Bridal store located at 1010 Niagara Falls Boulevard in the Town of Tonawanda from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day - or until sold out.
All sales will be final. JADD will be accepting cash or credit only.
Alfred Angelo was based in Delray Beach, FL and had been in business for some 80 years.
