WBFO News

The two singing Buffalo Police officers who have received national attention will be the inspiration for a television sitcom.

Officers Moe Badger and Michael Norwood have signed an agreement with Entertainment One for the show. Details are still being worked out, such as who will portray the officers and whether the sitcom will be situated in Buffalo.

Badger and Norwood gained national attention this year when their singing of popular songs went viral. They were then invited to perform on "Ellen," comedienne Ellen Degeneres' daily show, "Inside Edition" and the "CBS Evening News," among others.

Despite their growing national celebrity, Badger tells the Buffalo News that both he and Norwood play to stay on as officers.
