Opera in Buffalo! Theater critic Anthony Chase and host Gabe DiMaio talk about this weekend's productions by two local opera companies.
Buffalo Opera Unlimited is presenting a program called "Barroom Brawls," featuring "The Fall of Stag Lee" by Darryl Glenn Nettles and "Blue Monday" by George Gershwin. Shows are Friday night at 8pm and Sunday at 2:30pm at 710 Main Theatre.
Tony also previews Opera Lytes production of "She Loves Me" this weekend at the Alleyway Theatre.
They also touch on what Gabe describes as "the show that shan't be named." It's a Buffalo United Artists production that opens Friday night and continues through June 7th at the Main Street Cabaret at 672 Main Street.
