It's time for the annual Arties in Buffalo! On this week's edition of Theater Talk co-host Anthony Chase talks with WBFO's Omar Fetouh about Artovoice's annual Artie Awards. Chase founded the Arties in 1991 to recognize the work of the local theater actors and actresses.
The Arties will be held Monday, June 3 at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo. The $10 fee for the event benefits Benedict House in Buffalo severing those with HIV/AIDS.
The Artie Committee votes in 19 categories selecting the nominees. It's Buffalo's own Oscars!
