Toronto police service

Police in Toronto are searching for a woman and her daughter who are believed to have ties to the Buffalo area.

Toronto detective Erica Wester says 27- year-old Ashley Johnson and 3-year-old Nakita Johnson have not been seen or heard from in over a month. The two are believed to have crossed the U.S boarder.

The mother and daughter were last seen in the Eglinton Avenue East and Birchmount road area in Toronto. Ashley is described as being 5'10", 190 pounds with long, curly, dark hair.

Anyone with information should contact police at 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS.
