Mostly sunny skies occurring across  the Buffalo Niagara region Saturday after old man winter returned with less than expected snow in the metro region Friday.

Between two to more than four inches of snow fell in parts of Erie, Niagara and Chautauqua Counties Friday.

A weather spotter in North Tonawanda in Niagara County reported 4.3 inches of snow fall to the National Weather Service Office at the Airport Weather Station in Cheektowaga.

It will remain mostly sunny and crisp Saturday with a high near 30.

There is a chance of snow showers over night and a chance of flurries for Sunday morning.  It will be cloudy Sunday with some gradual clearing with a high near 37. 

Forecasters are predicting sunny skies with a high near 44 on Monday and a high near 47 on Tuesday.
