Buffalo, NY – An open house was held by Jane Corwin at her Campaign Headquarters in Williamsville on Saturday.

Corwin, a current State Assembly member, is the unanimously endorsed Republican candidate for the 26th Congressional District seat that has been vacant since the sudden resignation by Chris Lee. Corwin emphasized that her primary concerns in office will be jobs creation and fiscal responsibility.

Her endorsement by the Republican Party was supported by Bill Reilich, who is the Chairman of the Monroe County Republican Committee.

A special election to fill the seat will be held on May 24th.

In related news, former Congressman Chris Lee has announced that he will be returning all donations made to his campaign during the years 2010 and 2011.
