Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo City Mission launched its annual fundraising campaign Tuesday. The organization has set a goal of $1.65 million in a campaign called "One Mission, One Hope."
The funds pay for the services offered by the mission's Men's Community Center and the Cornerstone Manor for Women and Children. Mission Director Stuart Harper says on any given night, there are more than two thousand men, women and children who are out on the streets with no home.
"People are hurting and turning to the Buffalo City Mission every day for life's most basic needs," said Harper.
The campaign runs through the end of December.
