Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo School District has created a new partnership to offer a student leadership program to city students. The District is teaming with the Erie County Chapter of The LINKS Incorporated, Buffalo State College and Liberty Partnerships Program.

The "Just Say Yes Leadership Institute" is a 12-week course to be offered this fall. 7th, 8th and 9th graders will have the opportunity to apply. 45 city school students will be accepted into the program that will be taught at Buffalo State.

Students must apply for the program before August 30th. They will need to include their grades and a written narrative. The program begins at the end of September.
