The Erie County Sheriff's Office has issued a warning that arrests will be made Sunday of people who trespass at Buffalo Bills' Stadium.
The Bills host their season opener versus the New York Jets beginning at 1 p.m., but no fans will be allowed.
Sheriff Timothy Howard cited Gov. Andrew Cuomo's orders prohibiting spectators at the Orchard Park stadium and people congregating in the parking lots. He said deputies will be patroling the lots and the stadium's perimeter on game days this season.
These measures will remain in place until the state rules for sporting events are modified or lifted. Abbott Road in front of the stadium, between Routes 20 and 20-A, also will be closed to through traffic starting Sunday at 10 a.m.
