Buffalo State College has released results of an independent investigation into the conduct of the women's head soccer coach.
The investigation was done after complaints were filed last fall into the conduct of Nicholas DeMarsh by members of the team. A dozen members quit the team at the end of last season.
Buffalo State said the investigation found there were no violations of NCAA regulations, but did express concerns about his leadership style and professionalism.
DeMarsh remains on the college staff as fitness center manager, but men’s soccer coach Francesco Cardillo has been overseeing the women’s program. DeMarsh concluded his 17th season as the head soccer coach in 2018.
The school will review the investigation results before deciding on the future of the women's soccer program leadership in the coming weeks.
