This is the first major film for Director Yu Gu.

It was 2014 when a group of former Buffalo Jills filed a lawsuit seeking compensation against their managers, the Buffalo Bills and the NFL. The Jills have not performed since, but the lawsuit remains active in a battle over fair pay and employment practices.

Friday evening at Buffalo's North Park Theatre, that struggle comes to the big screen in a new film called "A Woman's Work: The NFL's Cheerleading Problem."WBFO's Marian Hetherly talked with the director, Yu Gu, who will be at the showing to answer questions from the audience.
