Toronto Raptors capturing fans across Canada

The Toronto Raptors may have fallen one point shy of their first NBA championship Monday night, but the setback is not cooling off the team's passionate, expanding fan base. Jack Armstrong, the former Niagara University basketball coach who now serves as the Raptors' broadcast analyst, says the team's run to the NBA Finals is connecting throughout Canada. "I've been with the Raptors now 21 years, to see where it was and where it is now is absolutely remarkable," Armstrong told WBFO. He says the fan parties outside Raptors' games in "Jurassic Park" are being emulated elsewhere, including in Mississauga where 20,000 people gathered to watch Game Five.
