Bills hire Brian Daboll as new offensive coordinator

The Buffalo Bills have hired their new offensive coordinator.

Brian Daboll comes to the team after recently helping Alabama win a college football championship as their offensive coordinator. He has 17 years of NFL coaching experience.

Daboll and head coach Sean McDermott have a connection dating back to 1997. McDermott was concluding his collegiate playing career at William and Mary when Daboll was a volunteer assistant.

The move comes after last week’s firing of previous offensive coordinator Rick Dennison after just one season in Buffalo.

Nick Lippa leads our Arts & Culture Coverage, and is also the lead reporter for the station's Mental Health Initiative, profiling the struggles and triumphs of those who battle mental health issues and the related stigma that can come from it.
