Philadelphia's district attorney will not charge Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy in connection with a February nightclub brawl.
The DA said he cannot prove who initiated the fight, which was recorded on video. He added that it is legal to act in self-defense or the defense of others.
McCoy and his companions were caught on video participating in a fight that included some off-duty Philadelphia police officers. The argument reportedly erupted over a bottle of champagne. Two of the officers were injured.
McCoy could still face disciplinary action from the National Football League.
