Borderland is returning for its second year at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora the weekend of September 21 and 22. In this week's Press Pass with WBFO's Mark Scott, Buffalo Spree Editor Elizabeth Licata says the music and art festival has quickly become popular.

The roster of musicians at Borderland is led by the legendary Mavis Staples. The lineup of artisans displaying their works at the festival is as stellar as the musicians appearing on stage.

Borderland is not the only significant event happening in the Southtowns that weekend. The Buffalo Bills play their home opener at New Era Field on Sunday, September 22. The September issue of Buffalo Spree celebrates Bills fandom, from the infamous tailgate parties to Bills bars in just about every major city in this nation.

And gallery owner Nina Freudenheim is celebrated with an exhibit at the Castellani Art Museum. Mark and Elizabeth explore the influence Freudenheim has had on the Buffalo arts scene since opening her gallery in 1975.
