The Albright-Knox Art Gallery expansion project is awaiting final approval from city planners. In this week's Press Pass with WBFO's Mark Scott, Buffalo Spree Editor Elizabeth Licata says people continue to weigh in on the design. As with any issue in the 21st century, she says social media is where people who object can be heard.
After a long-delayed spring, and Memorial Day now over, it's time to spend time outdoors. The June issue of Buffalo Spree offers several ideas for true day trips to some wonderful venues. Among them is Hidden Valley Adventure Center in the Wyoming County community of Varysburg, which gives people a chance to experience what a safari might be like.
The group Explore Buffalo will open the doors to some of the city's historically-significant buildings on Saturday, June 15th. While this tour is about the buildings themselves, Elizabeth reflects on the architectural splendor the doors to these buildings represent -- that they're not just a way of simply gaining entry.
