Press Pass: Buffalo Rising for the holiday season

David Corbett

It's the holiday season and Buffalo Rising has a present for its readers—images from cartoonist David Corbett, who is expected to be a regular contributor.

In addition, the Buffalo Rising Gift Guide is stepping back into the holiday season. The guide again is focused on local businesses contributing to a more sustainable community including a leather shop that specializes in reconditioning shoes, cosmetics which limit the user's exposure to harmful chemicals, and a wildlife rehabilitation center that offers gift options for true animal lovers.

Newell Nussbaumer and Jessica Marinelli say the guide reflects the mission and spirit of Buffalo Rising.
