Erie County Executive candidates to debate on WBFO |WNED

WNED | WBFO,  The Buffalo News and WGRZ will present a radio and television broadcast debate between the two candidates running for Erie County Executive.

Democratic incumbent Mark Poloncarz and Independence Party challenger Lynne Dixon, who is running on the Republican line, will face off in a live broadcast from the WNED-TV studios on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.

The event will be carried live on WBFO-FM, WNED-TV and WGRZ-TV.  It will also be carried on WBFO.org, WNED.org. WGRZ.com, BuffaloNews.com and their affiliated Facebook pages.

The two candidates will both present opening and closing statements and submit to questions and follow-ups from a panel featuring WGRZ Reporter Steve Brown, WBFO News Director Dave Debo, Buffalo News Political Columnist Robert McCarthy, and Buffalo News reporter Sandra Tan. Former WBFO News Director Brian Meyer will moderate the event.
