Attorney Beth Parlato announces candidacy for NY-27

Parlato Law

Family law attorney and former judge Beth Parlato has announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination in New York's 27th Congressional District.

In announcing her candidacy, Parlato joins state Sen. Chris Jacobs (R-Buffalo) in the Republican quest for the seat now held by Rep. Chris Collins (R-Clarence), who is under federal indictment.

Parlato already has a national platform from which to voice her conservative activism. She is a regular contributor on Fox News and she holds leadership roles in Moms for America, founded to "counter radical feminism," and Concerned Women for America, founded to counter "feminists' anti-God, anti-family rhetoric."

Parlato further describes herself as a "conservative activist" concerned that "voices on the left are pushing socialist policies that will destroy jobs and devastate families.”

“Now is not the time to go backwards," she said in her announcement from an Alden post office box as her campaign headquarters. "Christian and traditional values are mocked and the loudest voices on the left seem to have a disdain for America. We need a conservative alternative to what they call ‘The Squad.’ In Congress, I’ll be that new voice.”
