A source has confirmed to WBFO that Buffalo City Comptroller Mark Schroeder will be leaving his office to assume a post with the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Schroeder has frequently raised concerns over the city's financial path and also put together a Democratic Primary challenge to Brown in 2017.
