Morning Edition listeners know Cokie Roberts as a veteran commentator providing political analysis. However, that is just one of a long list of accomplishments over a 40-year career that have won Roberts many awards and accolades.
Roberts co-anchored the weekly ABC interview program This Week with Sam Donaldson, is a bestselling author and writes a weekly column Roberts and her husband, Steven, that is syndicated in newspapers around the country. The Library of Congress named her a "Living Legend," one of the very few Americans to have attained that honor.
Roberts talked with WBFO Albany Correspondent Karen Dewitt about Washington politics and and even Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s chances of becoming President.
