Skelos case may have "chilling effect" on corruption prosecutions

From former State Senator George Maziarz to former Democratic Party chief Steve Pigeon, a long line of corruption cases with local ties remains unresolved. Buffalo News Political Reporter Bob McCarthy says attorneys are taking note of the reversal of the corruption conviction of former Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos. One former prosecutor believes the decision will have a "chilling effect" on future corruption cases.
