The fight towards increasing minimum wage to $15 an hour in New York State is gaining support.

On Sunday morning Governor Andrew Cuomo visited Mount Neboh Baptist Church in Harlem and announced that 96 notable clergyman have joined the Mario Cuomo Campaign for Economic Justice. In Cuomo's address to the congregation he explained the need for everyone's support and showed plenty of optimism toward achieving the goal.

Following Cuomo's visit to Mount Neboh Baptist Church, he gave remarks at the African American Day Parade Breakfast.

In addition to 96 clergy members, 30 civil rights organizations are also backing the campaign.
