Around 100 people gathered in downtown Binghamton. They lit 10 candles, one for each victim, and stood in silence. They then read the names of each person killed or injured in the shooting.

The alleged gunman who killed 10 people in a racist attack at a Buffalo grocery store on Saturday is from Conklin, NY. The small, mostly white town is just outside of Binghamton. Conklin residents are trying to make sense of the shooting.
