Award-winning journalist Maggie Haberman discusses this "extraordinary moment"

Kyle S. Mackie

Maggie Haberman says becoming a journalist was an "accident." While fortune may have played a part in her career choice, Haberman has proven to be exceptionally skilled at the trade. In 2018, Haberman and her team at the New York Times won a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the Trump White House and the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. Haberman spoke Thursday night as part of UB's 33rd annual Distinguished Speakers Series.
