Guitarist Joe Perry recovering

@JoePerry

Longtime Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is recovering in a New York hospital after collapsing on stage, just one day after he performed at Seneca Niagara in Niagara Falls.

Perry began stumbling during the concert's first song, then sat down in front of the drum before walking off stage and collapsing. He was playing with the Hollywood Vampires, which also consists of Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp.

Perry tweeted out today:

"Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe. He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care."

There was no explanation of why he collapsed.
