Charles "Chuck" Incorvaia blows bubbles from his Allentown window.

The Allentown Association is holding its First Friday Gallery Walk in honor of Charles "Chuck" Incorvaia, also known as "Bubble Man."

Incorvaia and his bubbles were a staple in Allentown for two decades, before he passed away earlier this year after a long illness. He would blow them from his upstairs apartment window.

"Allentown's 'Bubble Man' brought joy to the entire community with the simple, whimsical act of blowing bubbles out over the corner of Allen Street and Elmwood Avenue," the association said.

The walk will feature a block party, beginning at 6 p.m. on Allen between Virginia Street and Franklin Street. Local artist vendors will be set up along the street, offering "Bubble Man" t-shirts and other memorabilia, and entertainment will play during the event. Allen Street will be closed from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Proceeds from the walk will benefit the Veterans Administration Charities.
