Post vaccine survey scam identified

The Intellectual Property Rights Center and numerous federal agencies have issued a warning about a post COVID-19 vaccine survey scam. After receiving a vaccine, victims are contacted by e-mail or text message asking them to take a survey. A prize is promised for completing the survey, and victims are asked to provide credit card information to cover shipping and handling costs of the prize.

Authorities state that no post-vaccination surveys are being conducted by the producers of the vaccines, and the public is urged not to open messages of this nature.

If anyone has already responded to one of these requests, victims should contact their financial institutions to monitor activity on their credit cards.
