Cattaraugus County saw over 1,200 people this past weekend get to the polls for early voting. The national election is a big reason for that. And according to Olean Times Herald Reporter Rick Miller, it’s one of many factors that could impact the race to represent New York’s 23rd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Leaders in Western New York rural communities have been voicing their concern about future state and federal funding. It’s one of many issues on this year’s ballot.
