National Grid is reporting that service has been restored to North Buffalo customers who lost power yesterday. Eleven thousand homes in that neighborhood were without electricity as temperatures rose into the 90s for the eighth straight day, setting a record. Power was restored this morning after issues arose with an underground cable.
Utility workers continue working to restore power to other areas, including the Elmwood Village.
