The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation and Be Our Guest, Ltd. have jointly announced that Canalside Live, the popular summer concert series at the downtown waterfront, has been canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Be Our Guest says it is hopeful that there may be an opportunity to hold individual or third-party concerts in late summer or early fall of this year, but that will depend on the progression of the pandemic and federal and state mandates, at the time.

“We value our guests and are prioritizing health and wellness above all,” said Be Our Guest, Ltd. Vice President Kevin Parkinson, in a statement.

Ticket holders for the Moe concert scheduled for July 16 will be sent refunds if purchased through Eventbrite. Anyone who paid cash for tickets at the waterfront box office is asked to email info@buffalowaterfront.com for refunds.

The Rick Ross concert  scheduled for July 18 is being postponed, with tickets to be honored at an undetermined future date.

Be Our Guest says it is continuing to plan for a "socially distant summer season of programming" in accordance with state and federal guidelines and will inform the public of any changes to upcoming waterfront programming.
