The Niagara County Clerk's office is fully closed as of Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
Clerk Joseph Jastrzemski said the closing affects attorney and title companies closing real estate deals. The DMV, pistol permit, and passport offices had already been closed due to the coronavirus.
The Niagara County Clerk's Office Land Record Development will still record documents, but they must be delivered electronically via E-Record or through USPS, UPS or FedEx. Personal service or courier deliveries will not be accepted.
