Roswell Park opening Amherst satellite

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is planning to open a satellite service location in Amherst. Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation has submitted plans to construct a three-story, 50,000-square-foot medical office building at 199 Park Club Lane, near the I-290 interchange with Main Street and the mainline Thruway.

Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa confirmed to the Buffalo News that the tenant is Roswell, and he is expected to provide more details during his "State of the Town" address scheduled for Friday.

The project needs a full review and approvals at the town and state levels. No cost estimate is yet available due to the early stages of the planning process for the facility.

Mark Wozniak, WBFO's local All Things Considered host, has been at WBFO since mid-1978.
