Protesters in Buffalo rally against killing of Iranian general

Dozens of protesters gathered at Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo Saturday to voice their opposition to the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. The situation grew more serious Thursday night when a drone strike killed a top Iranian military leader in Baghdad. Victoria Ross of the Western New York Peace Center said the Trump administration is making the situation worse.

"Our government is not in the business of making peace," Ross said. "This latest atrocity is pushing us into war."

The protesters say they don't want to see a war with Iran and that they oppose sending additional troops to the Middle East.
