A Cheektowaga man who has been missing since the August murder of his wife has been taken into custody in Mexico.

The regional offices of the US Marshal and US attorney released a statement Saturday saying 34-year-old Yuriy Bruks was apprehended following an "extensive investigation." More details will be announced at a news conference Monday.

Bruks is the prime suspect in the murder of his wife Tetiana. She was found dead in their Raymond Avenue home in Cheektowaga on August 4th.
